Community Tourism Policy and Strategy White Paper

The Ministry of Tourism and Entertainment is working towards the development of a Community Tourism Policy (CTP) that will include and benefit local communities throughout the island.  It will also deepen the links and collaborative opportunities within the tourism sector.  In this way, every Jamaican will have the opportunity to benefit from tourism. 

The CTP will lay the foundation for a strong community-tourism sector in Jamaica; one that is equitable and sustainable and benefits communities through economic development, job creation, and infrastructure development.
