Agricultural Business Information System (ABIS)  is a web-based information system developed by the Rural Agricultural Development Agency (RADA) to provide information on crops, livestock and agricultural production, markets and stakeholders to support the business of agriculture.

Jamaica Agricultural Marketing Information System (JAMIS) is offered by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries which provides weekly market information for over 50 agricultural produce items. Market information such as prices, availability and quality of produce is uploaded to the JAMIS website and is available through online reports. Specific reports/information available include:

  • The JAMIS Price Chain table which shows a holistic view of produce prices from farms to supermarkets and everywhere in between.
  • JAMIS Maps provide information on parishes and the crop production.
  •  JAMIS Shopping Basket is a virtual shopping cart with tropical fruits, vegetables, tubers, condiments and more.
  •  Report Archive which provides data for the previous year

Jamaica Manufacturers’ Association Membership Directory is developed by the association to highlight the range of manufacturing businesses operating in Jamaica. Through the JMA Membership directory, information is available on businesses that provide products from nine (9) product groups. These product groups are: food & agro products, furniture, wooden & bedding products, minerals & metal products, printing, packaging & paper products, textile & sewn products, information & communication technology, gold & silver smith’s products, electrical, electronics & automotive products and chemicals, cosmetics and pharmaceutical products.

These stores showcase and retail the best and highest quality gift and craft items that are exclusive authentic locally made products, primarily handmade by artisans using mainly local material.
